CHASTEN HARMON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Chasten Harmon founded Space on White in 2008 after graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Recognizing the immense need in Manhattan’s artistic community for a new kind of studio space, Chasten designed Space on White to be nurturing place for artistic growth and collaboration. Since its inception, Space on White has hosted numerous events, workshops, rehearsals, auditions, classes, fundraisers, and most importantly, become a home for NYC artists working in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, design, and beyond. Also a performer, Chasten is currently on tour playing Eponine in the new 25th Anniversary national tour of Les Miserables, and was recently seen in Broadway’s HAIR and as Ti Moune in Once on this Island (Marriot Theatre).

CAMERON VOKEY BOOKINGS & SPACE MANAGER

Cameron Vokey has been working as the Bookings & Space Manager at Space on White since Summer 2010 and enjoys being a part of the Space on White community. Outside of the Space, he is a production manager for short films and music videos, and is also a video editor, installation artist, graphic designer, and an award-winning playwright. CIARA PRESSLER MARKETING DIRECTOR

Ciara Pressler is proud to contribute to the Space on White community through managing its events, residency, promotions, and social media. Ciara is the founder of Pressler Collaborative, an NYC marketing firm that creates marketing strategies for businesses in arts, culture, and lifestyle. Past companies and projects include ActorIntro, Capes Coaching, The Savvy Actor, 20UNDER40, Gen Art, and the Brooklyn Arts Council. ADVISORY BOARD

LEE GUNDERSHEIMER

Former Producing Director at Century Center for the Performing Arts and Artistic Director of Avalon Repertory Theatre. Lee has directed over thirty productions in and around Manhattan, and is the author of many plays including the Best New Play of 1988 on Theatre Row, Pas De Deux and Incommunicado, which opened the 1998 New Federal Theatre season and was nominated for three Audelco awards.

RACHEL HELSON

Rachel Helson (Janet Weiss) formed the production company Acting for a Cure in the summer of 2004 after a fourth aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. To date she has raised over $80,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and is committed to continuing her efforts through Acting for a Cure. Rachel is currently studying at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in the Stella Adler studio.

DARYL EISENBERG

Daryl Eisenberg is an NYC-based casting director for theatre, film, and television. Credits include: Theatre – My First Time, Altar Boyz, The Awesome 80s Prom, Tully (NYMF ’07), Jihad: The Explosive New Musical (Edinburgh Fringe ’07), VOTE! A New Musical, Street Lights. JAMES LIPTON

James Lipton is widely known as the creator, executive-producer, writer and host of “Inside the Actors Studio”. Since 1994, more than 200 actors, directors and writers have joined him in sharing their stories, perspective and advice on the craft. He has studied acting and directing under Stella Adler, Harold Clurman and Robert Lewis, which has led to tremendous success in the arts. Furthermore, he has written numerous Broadway plays/musicals and TV soap operas.

MARCUS J ELLISON

Marcus Ellison brings diverse business experience from the confluence of the real estate, entertainment, and non-profit worlds. He is a principle of the real estate investment & development company Saulter & Ellison, which specializes in the development of multi-family, and retail properties in New York City. In addition, he is co-owner of Urbane New York, a real property marketing company whose focus is destination-based digital pr and social media. Highly entrepreneurial prior ventures have ranged from Internet radio to live music concerts in New York City. In 2006 he received the Unilever Legacy of Leadership Award for his not-for-profit work with “Business Advancement and Social Entrepreneurship”. Marcus has been profiled in the “Awards & Achievements” section of Gallatin Today and featured in a full page article in the August 11, 2006 edition of New York Daily News “Spotlight on Great People”. Marcus received his B.A. from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study in entrepreneurship & real estate.
